Hounslow Heath Green Gym is a free weekly 3 hour practical conservation session run by The Conservation Volunteers. We meet every Tuesday 10.45 - 2pm at the visitor centre, to exercise and make a differenceto in a local green space. Our activities take place in the woodlands, meadows, grassland and ponds on this 200 acre nature reserve. Volunteers can learn new skills; how to manage meadows, identify plants and wildlife, coppice, as well as meeting new people. This is a great opportunity to give something back to the local community and spend time enjoying this incredible wild green space at the heart of Hounslow. Tools, gloves and light refreshments are provided. Volunteers need to wear sturdy boots and clothes suitable for outdoor work. Contact TCV Hounslow for more information or to book your first session.
