Lewisham Hostels Growing Project Hooray!

Just as things had ground to a halt due to the using up of the initial set up funding from Capital Growth, I was made aware of the Timberland Earthkeepers fund advertised on Project Dirt. The money will help us to finish the wildlife area and pond, which is currently just a hole in the ground, as well as build more growing spaces and hold some tutor sessions and events for the residents… Continue

Mark Mark checking out the new Bike hire scheme ...

A quick blog ... to give you the heads up my first bike hire outing. Personally (and tell me if you think im barking up the wrong tree) - i think it's great.

It's about short journeys ... and with 30 mins of use being free - the pricing structure makes sure this is absolutely the case. with the bikes being up to £50 for 24 hours ... it means it'll stop people sneaking them home and out of circulation.
