Profile Information

About Me:
I have a garden in a unique area in South London, in that a triangle of streets encloses a substantial green area. I am a member of the Stanthorpe/Triangle Res. Ass. and have in the past supported efforts to prevent 'overdeveloping' of our green area.
I wish to connect with others who like me understand that the 'Garden of the Future' is a survival tool which must contribute to preserving/creating healthy sustainable mini-biospheres, inspiring, educating, encouraging a positive outlook that even in an urban area we have chances to evolve in collaboration, diminishing fear of'what's going to happen when the oil runs out'- a fresh look at all the spaces and places that can be encouraged to flourish as homes for wildlife and even foodgrowing, gardens that can be on the ground, on rooves, balconies, barges, in buckets and bins...
Key Interests
Conservation, Recycling, Composting, Carbon Reduction, Wildlife, Education, Lobbying, Gardening
Experience/Skills
a lifetime of gardening without the use of 'nasties', bringing wildlife to my garden, at the moment looking at how I can further support the diversity, and asking myself how I can inspire/encourage others to do the same...
