About Me:
Just started working in sustainability and been introduced to projectdirt. I am really keen to be greener (not too bad at the mo but lots of room for improvement). Feel a lot of what I would like to do is out of my reach i.e double glazing windows, cavity wall insulation, composting for example - as I live in a council flat. But I'm also probably making excuses so no more complacency. Live in Brixton so will be looking at local projects. I am also trying to organise kitchen waste recycling/collection from estate where I live in Brixton so will be looking for advice/tips

Experience/Skills
My work background is in marketing and campaign management. I have reasonable IT skills, am a trustee for a small local charity and work in sustainability now - for a sustainability comms consultancy. Very new to it so lots to learn. Not sure how useful this might be but I am happy to roll up my sleeves and muck in.

Hi Rachel, Just thought that you might like to know about a job.

It is for Eco- Schools coordinator in Sutton who are aiming to be a zero carbon borough by 2005. I have been trying to find out more myself but am having difficulty finding it on the Sutton Website!

I did eventually make contact with Sue and she has been really helpful. She is coming to our next tenants and residents association meeting. Will update as and when I have something to tell!
