The Wave - and start of Copenhagen

What a great weekend.  Saturday 5th December - The Wave march for strong climate action at Copenhagen.  Saturday started out sunny, and spirits were up looking forward to what was billed as the UK's biggest public action on Climate Change. As midday came around, the storm clouds were gathering though, and by early afternoon it was ... Planning changes in the UK

Fantastic news from the UK; the planning rules - which, to be honest, seem pretty archaic at times - are being relaxed to make it easier to "go green"!  Tuesday's announcement from Planning minister John Healey saw red tape cut from two specific areas, notorious for getting people snarled up in the planning system, when all they rea... The forums are extremely under used, with many posts not receiving any answers. Can recent posts be sent out in a digest to job peoples memory to read the forum?

I've joined and would like to keep in touch with any like minded folks who love gardening permaculture, foraging, horticultural therapy, and promoting gardening for students of all ages.

Please see the blog on sustainability and foraging on saving the planet natures way (New Cross)- the vandalized tree picture. Then go to Deptford Transition Town site and run down the pictures until you get to the one of two travellers with two trolleys full of firewood. This needs to stop!. Project dirt is about saving the planet, not wasting paper on books, illegal bank notes or vandalizing the environment. We are being hijacked by a load of vandals who are definitely not well informed about saving the planet.

I like receiving the weekly updates, but a lot of the events are on the day the email arrives or only a day or two later. It would be much easier for me to plan to go to events if we heard about them at least a week in advance, rather than only a day or two before. Could the weekly email include more for the following week as well as the current week, if events are already planned?

I agree with the comment about dividing forum comments into categories - my request for green cleaners will get lost in no time I'm sure. Any chance of it?

Hi, would it not be possible to have the forum under relevant discussions like the projects and also a general chat one?
For new people like us it took ages to trawl through the discussions to find relevant ones to our group. A lot of 'old' discussions are relevant but are lost at the back, if they were under headings it would be easier to browse.
There is probably a good reason for it not to be like this so far down the line but I thought I would ask.

Hi, I like the "what's on this week" emails but could you confirm the cut-off date you use when compiling the list. I sometimes add weekend events only one week ahead as they can depend on weather and ground conditions.
