Well, well, bank holiday is drawing closer and London seems to be enjoying some new found rain - great news for those veg growers amongst us . There are some great events on this week ... and i promised to give the London Permacult

Mark checking out the new Bike hire scheme ...

A quick blog ... to give you the heads up my first bike hire outing. Personally (and tell me if you think im barking up the wrong tree) - i think it's great.

It's about short journeys ... and with 30 mins of use being free - the pricing structure makes sure this is absolutely the case. with the bikes being up to £50 for 24 hours ... it means it'll stop people sneaking them home and out of circulation.

Timberland Earthkeeper Grant (2010) - The Results

Hand me a towel Nick, because this was a closely run thing. 30+ applications came in, over a period of just over two weeks. Here at Dirt HQ we were happily overwhelmed with the level of interest – in fact, it led to a

Thanks!

To be honest before saturday would be preferable for me since the deadline is getting very close. I've been doing some of these over the phone so that would probably be the best bet. If you give me a time and a phone number we can whistle though the questions. I'm generally free (by which I mean strapped to a desk) from now on.

Glad to see you are going to Balham Green Drinks - I want to catch up about LLCCN, and Lambeth... and PD of course!

Hello Mark.

Sorry to cut to the quick, but would you potentially be able to squeeze me in for a twenty minute slot.

I would love to interview you regarding PD for my theses on developing interdependence between community growing projects.

In the next week would be ideal,

Appreciate you're busy,

David

Fine now, except for a bit of text hanging off the bottom of the shortened version.

Hi Mark - would you consider putting up my blog post:
http://www.projectdirt.com/profiles/blogs/juice-from-your-roof-solar

on the front page ASAP? Thanks. It is about the solar buyers' club that Sustainable Merton has just launched. We have already got someone to sign up via PD after only an hour or so!

Hi Mark,

Just to say the items that are being re-distributed from Chelsea are for growing groups only, not for personal use. First dibs go to non-funded growing groups etc...giving these folk a chance to grow new things or have access to kit to build new stuff. So please pass on the word! Thanks Sarah

Hi Mark thanks for the welcome. I'm still getting to grips with the site and it's potential, I will contact you or the team with any queries or comments.

Great idea, I think it is a winner.

I am Ohene from Ghana and a young person. Can we be friends? I want to volunteer in your projects so that I can learn more. Have a nice day.
