Thanks for rallying people for the community garden! Sorry I didn't make it down to Brockwell Park yesterday - had a rather nasty cold which meant I didn't leave the house! Did any of the waterside walk garden folk manage to seek you out? Hope the picnic went well and that we manage to meet up soon
Emma
Thanks for getting back to me - we'd love to come along to the FuF picnic on sunday. Let's catch up more then!
Take care,
Emma
I'm involved in Transition Town Wandsworth, and we've recently been allocated a patch of land (along Smugglers Way, near the Thames: http://www.multimap.com/s/1wU8AzV6) to transform into a community garden.
We wondered if members of FuF might be interested in getting involved in creating and managing the community garden.
I noticed that you're organising a Big Lunch picnic on the 19th July - if you think FuF people might be interested, maybe we could meet then to discuss where we are and how people might want to be involved?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Emma
Hope all is going well?
A quick note to let you know you can now access funding directly through project dirt ...
As of today ... Timberland, the US boot guys - are making available £500 to 4 projects on the site. I just wanted to flag this with you in case you needed funds to help your project.
Take a look at their project page http://www.projectdirt.com/group/timberlandEK to see how to apply.
I'm here if you need a hand with anything.
cheers - catch up soon
Mark
Cheers, Nick
I was speaking to Anna yesterday about becoming a Street Rep and I said that I would get in touch with you to volunteer to become the street rep for the Sunnyhill road area in Streatham. I live in Balham, but I go over there twice or three times a week for the shared garden project.
I haven't renewed my membership for this year yet, but I was planning to do that. Could you let me know what I need to do next please?
Anna said that she has a lot on and she would gladly pass over the mantle to me.
Cheers
