About Me:
I live in Furzedown. I am married with two daughters. Keen (older) footbal player and supporter. I am Chair of Furzedown Community Network (FCN) which runs an annual festival each June and carries out other actvities that seek to make Furzedown a enjoyable and more sustainable place to live, work and play.

Also work with Living Streets (Furzedown) to improve the safety and livability of local streets. We have received £110k from TfL to improve a part of Moyser Rd, a major shopping parade in Furzedown.

As part of future FCN actions, I am looking for ideas to develop green projects in Furzedown such as a community compost. Ideas welcomed!

Recycling, Composting, Carbon Reduction, Gardening
Experience/Skills
Knowledge of the bureacrcay of local government and experience of getting things done via Wandsworth Council. Knowledge of the government's green agenda for communities.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you - been busy busy busy! Would the Furzedown FCN like to get involved with a composting / education project around Pumpkins? I'm trying to start something up... please see the discussion in the Balham Composters group for info
