Thanks for your support in the Free Solar bid.

Despite the clear public interest in our proposal, our bid was unfortunately not successful and we will not be able to offer free solar panels under this project. We didn't win this one but Lambeth Superhomes continues to look for ways to work with communities to deliver financed ‘whole house’ eco-renovation delivered by trained local tradespeople.

I will post future initiatives on my blog.

All the best

Hi - hope I've got the name right, if so... nice to meet you yesterday! Here's a link to the Bristol City Council report on peak oil: http://www.bristol.gov.uk/ccm/content/Environment-Planning/sustainability/file-storage-items/peak-oil-report.en

Hmm, not bad, not brilliant! Less than a pound per person! Bettr than nothing I guess. We will need to decide what we do with it, several people have paid for things and need to be riembursed at some point.

all looking good - last 3 suggestions (sorry to drag this out!).

1 - perhaps put the title in as Sunday 11th October - as we have always done
2 - i'd insert below the image the current title of "Come to the London Premier of 'In Transition 1.0' - the Transition Towns Film!"

When it uploads to the front page ... it just shows the first 2 to 3 lines. Personally, id make the font of the first two paragraphs the same as the rest of the blog - as that way, people can see more of the beginning of the blog. Ie - the smaller the font and the less the number of spaces between the words - the more they'll see.

Completely your call though. Off to the beach for a quick stroll - i'll point the front page at the blog when back. here to help if you need anything else.

All the best - hope the above helps!!

hi gareth - thanks for this - sorry for being slow on the uptake.

can you put a photo/pic (preferably rectangular and landscape) at the top of the blog ... as then i'll point the front page at it.

to have a look at what i mean - check out the layout of my blogs on my profile page...

i'll keep an eye out today - and as soon as you have done this ... let me know and i'll get the front page pointing your way!

all the best

happy sunday

Thanks Gareth
I wonder if you could ask Shaun if he's seen it and if not perhaps one of us should introduce it instead?
