Hi Erica,

thanks for the reply. It is not linked to Eco Teams but not too far away either. If I can get some slides to you sometime would appreciate them being shown/some flyers etc.

thanks

Tom

Hi Erica,

I am running a project that is piloting a group carbon reduction tool called Carbon Conversations in London. We currently have 8 groups running and will start around 10-12 after Easter and wondered wether we might be able to do a taster session before one of your regular meets. We would need an hour to cover what it is and give poeple the right flavour of fun and peer learning of the programme.

Here is a link to the main website: Carbon Coversations but we are the contact for most of the groups in London.

We also are looking for more voluntary facilitators to be trained to run groups. Mostly to date these have been in North London but would like to see it develop in the South also.

The contact for me is tom.hitchman@carbonliteracyforum.org

We are a not for profit social enterprise and have managed to run the pilot with some funding from the Big Green Challenge.

many thanks

Hi Erica
Thanks for the blog - could you please shift the image to the top of the text if you want it on the front page. Then message Lucy Langdon (her blog's currently on the front page) to let her know you've done it, and want it on the front page! Thanks, Nick

OK, great. I'll set up the thread later. And come up with a draft plan of action before next week's meeting. I'll hang around here until seven or so just in case anyone comes that I don't know about...

Hello again

Could postpone. My only thought is that we only have a couple of weeks before the event! One alternative is that I could set up a Climate Games discussion topic on the TT Wandsworth page and we could use that to brainstorm ideas, allocate roles, etc and then actually meet next week to finalise plans. What do you think? You could then encourage your friend to join in on the discussion there. And I could direct the other volunteers there too.

Hey Erica

Looks like it could just be me and you tonight! We have more coming for the brainstorm next week though. Are you still OK to meet? I am at the BAC now catching up on emails etc. If you need to call, my number is 07949 294 680. Cheers

Hi Erica

thanks ever so much for getting in touch. As you can imagine we could use all the help we can get. Please do join our TTW page on this site and you'll be fully clued into all that we are doing.

We're currently working with the council to begin our community garden scheme, but we're also going to be running some skills share workshops, and other screening and awareness raising events.

We have meetings every 2 weeks at the BAC so I'll keep you posted as to the exact next date.

in the meantime call if you want
07931 106 949
I'll be happy to give you any answers.

cheers
Dan
