Profile Information

About Me:
Previously a FoodUpFront Street Rep on the Blenheim Gardens Estate off Brixton Hill, founder of the Blenheim Gardens Edible Estate (London's first Capital Growth project) and instrumental in setting up the TTBrixton Food & Growing Group, I lived in Brixton from Oct 07 to Nov 09 and loved every minute. I also spent a brief spell at Lambeth Council in their wonderful Sustainability Team undertaking some painful carbon footprinting (NI185)

Now I live in Bristol and work for the Soil Association as a project manager of their Community Supported Agriculture strand, part of the Making Local Food Work partnership.

I have a little garden which gets intermittent sun but grow what I can within the constraints of the letting agency!

I'm interested in land use mapping. Whilst in Bristol I started the South London Fruit and Nut Tree Map and South London Green Space Map and was briefly involved in bring the Community Map to Brixton. I hope to see more of this happening over the coming years and an keeping tabs on GeoFutures and their work in the south west.

I'm a big fan of Project Dirt and have agreed to be their ambassador in Bristol in the hope of bringing PD goodness to the west country.
Key Interests
Conservation, Recycling, Composting, Carbon Reduction, Wildlife, Gardening
