How to rant: a ranters' guide

Now we all have our gripes. A principled lot such as the Project Dirt community probably wouldn't have such drive to "do good" without being a tad annoyed at lack of action elsewhere from time to time.

Many of us share those views and issues. The idea behind this project is to provide a space for members to share their views on what gets to them, what should be improved, and - hopefully - to put our heads together and come up with some constructive ideas on how to get on and make that change!

Let's make Project Dirt a really useful force for change!

In the forum area below, you can:
1) start a discussion outlining the issues as you know them
2) add whatever information or data you can find to kick off some thinking and/or prove there is a problem
3) make a request or suggestion to others that they might be able to help; possibly by kicking off with a few ideas of your own!

Who knows, we might even "spin out" a few new project ideas between us!

I cannot stand the way that unscrupulous PR and blatant lies can STILL get printed in the press and people believe it "because its in the paper". AARGH. Playing by the rules may be the correct way - but sure ain't satisfying....GRRRR

I suggest going for a good old rant by nominating something for the 2009 Landfill Prize (http://www.enoughness.co.uk) as I did. The nominations are soon to be judged and the most pointless and/or irritating creations from Wii to motorised ice cream will be published this month! Very satisfying.
