Making environmental change happen

Information

We're a small, inclusive group of people who live either in or not too far from Peckham, who keep track of their personal carbon budget with the intention to reduce our share of greenhouse gas emissions. We're part of a nationwide network of CRAGs.

How the group runs - meetings and things

We generally get together on the third Tuesday of every month, somewhere in the Peckham or East Dulwich area. At these meetings we report on our carbon monitoring - focusing on carbon relating to transport use and use of energy in the home - and chat about our experiences of trying to reduce the amount of carbon we're responsible for emitting. We'll often theme our meetings - for instance we've had speakers on recycling; we've transformed tetrapaks into wallets; and we've even made draughtproofing 'sausages' (not real sausages, note) for use with leaky sash windows. We'd love it if you'd join us sometime - we're a friendly, supportive bunch.

Check out the CRAG website - http://www.carbonrationing.org.uk/ - for more on the network of CRAGs and what we've achieved together so far.
