Making environmental change happen

Hi FUF members,

we got an enquiry from Tottenham Food Co-op, see below...
Contact Katrina directly if you want to take part in this.
Thanks,
Albane

Dear foodies (apologies if you've magically received this email twice)

I am contacting you on behalf of the Tottenham Food Cop-op, as we need your help. Do you grow anything in your allotment, garden or a window still that you are likely to have a surplus of in the next couple of weeks? This may be just a big bunch of mint,a bowl of broad beans or a bag of new potatoes!

As you know, we are taking an active part in the upcoming Haringey Green Fair on Saturday 13 June. The plan is to put up a wonderful little stall in the Common, with various local and organic yummy offerings enticing people to joining the Food Co-op. At the moment the Food co-op sources from the farms in the counties neighbouring London, but what can be more local than Haringey growing spaces?

The idea is not to make any profit of course (in fact, we are thinking of giving out tasters for free), but to get people to come to the stall and get chatted to (although we may be able to arrange some kind of barter either on the day or at the next co-op)! If there is anything you'd be willing to donate, we would be hugely grateful (as all the punters I'm sure!).

Please let me know what you'd like to bring in advance of the event and roughly how much, as we will be preparing dishes on the eve of the Fair. Please do pass on my email to any of your friends and colleagues who may be able to chip in.

Thanks a lot in advance and I look forward to meeting you the following Saturday! Let's hope for the weather
