Making environmental change happen

hello everyone,

I went to B&Q 2 weeks ago and planted a load of stuff - see the storage box for photos for those that have produced some shoots. In short, i've planted the following:

1) Peppers
2) Onions
3) Spring Onions
4) Tomatoes
5) Runner Beans
6) Chilli

i have also potted some herbs - including

1) Basil
2) Rosemary
3) Chives

We've been talking to them constantly - so they're growing well!!!

cheers - any tips or comments are welcome

That all sounds great Mark,

for small spaces:
3 Sister planting
corn, beans and squash in the same mounds,
Plant the corn in the middle then beans on the outside of the corn and the squase or pumkins on the outside of the beans.
Corn, beans and squash were among the first important crops domesticated by ancient Mesoamerican societies.

Planting in recycled council paper box is great for carrots and broad beans ( sss ...don't tel the council )

And this is a great link for girls YOU GROW GRIL well boys if you intrested!

Seems you doing very well already
If you get white spots like white fungus ,spray plants with milk.
If you go to the sea pick up a bag of seaweed ,place in bucket and you get delicious fertiliser.
Get some comfrey too
A gardeners friend
And an absolute must a compost bin and rain water harvesting system best one I have seen is last week at Hugh's river cottage and above square foot garden herbs.

good luck with all
Iris
