The next meeting of the London Low Carbon Communities Network is at the GLA at 6pm on Tuesday July 13th. It will be in a committee room on the lower floor by the restaurant. We very much hope that you can join us. The meeting in May was very productive and we hope that this one will be too. Come and find people to help you with your projects. (we don't have to keep reinventing the wheel). The key themes for the meeting (which will be run on an ‘open space’ basis so there’s room for plenty of discussion) will be: • Funding. • Links with other London wide networks. • Recent national developments around local action • Follow up from the last meeting on o Culture change vs behaviour change. o Networking with the Low Carbon Zones If you’ve got comments on this or would like to suggest other topics, we have a site on Project Dirt - www.projectdirt.com/group/LondonLCCN where you can post ideas / comments. Best wishes Sue Sheehan Chris Church

Hi Phil,

The meeting you refer to was an initial meeting we organised to bring together the existing borough-level networks in an effort to develop relations and links between us and share experiences. It is hoped that in the longer term we will look at sharing good practices and helping other borough's develop networks of their own. With the help of Nick and Mark we're going to develop a page on Project Dirt and I'll post up the notes up on here as soon as possible. We are having another meeting on the 16th September in Brent with the Brent Sustainability Forum. More details to follow.

Hi all, understand there was a 2nd meeting of Linking up London a little while ago. Were there any specific outcomes, or is there any sort of write up anywhere? Any further meetings planned?

Hello,

I was wondering whether any other Linking up London workshops were being arranged, or if the ideas that were discussed have been developed further? I was particuarly interested in the one about designing a council sign up sheet. If anyone is involved in that, please let me know!

Cheers,
Becky

Hi Chris - as said, let me know if you want to e-mail the admin project ... as that covers the pd lot fairly well. likewise - a good idea to get this up as an event on the events page.

jess is doing a blog - and we'll point that towards the front page to raise awareness too.

cheers
