Making environmental change happen

We are setting up a community garden on an estate in Kennington. We have been thinking of activities for kids in the garden along with the veggie growing for the summer at weekends or holidays.
We have a huge willow tree and I wondered about using some of the 'branches?' to make a small den and some other interesting bits.
So we are looking for a weaver to volunteer time maybe in exchange for some willow? Or if we get some funding we can pay for a workshop.

Any ideas are welcome along these lines for kids.

How about getting cuttings and using them in a composting toilet system which breaks down the poo and soaks up the wee in straw bails and then feeds the willow so
that you get more than you even known what to do with...
