Are you passionate about nature, patient and empathic and a good listener? Potted History is a project run by London Widlife Trust, funded by the Big Lottery, which brings the health and wellbeing benefits of nature to isolated older people in venues across Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Through activity sessions incorporating gardening, art, craft and reminiscence participants enjoy coming together for a chat, sharing memories, learning new skills and taking away craft items they have made themselves or produce they have grown.

We are looking for volunteers who can contribute one session of 2 hours a week for 8 weeks (or longer). This is a very rewarding project to be involved in - no experience is necessary and training will be given.

Hi Joanna - - thanks for posting this volunteering opportunity on our Forum last year.

We're about to switch off this Forum section next week to focus attention completely on the Volunteering tab, so if you have this or other live volunteering opportunities, please add them directly to our custom volunteering tool. You will need to do this from a project page that you are an administrator of.

You can see further details on how to do add a volunteering opportunity here:

, or drop us an email! (help@projectdirt.com)

Best wishes, Nick
