The procurement process, whether public or private, can be complicated and time-consuming. Before you tender for work, you should firstly understand the implications for your organisation if the bid were to be successful – resources to dedicate, skills to develop and documents you’ll need to have in place. Writing the bid is not an easy process either, therefore, this series will look at the process of bid-writing, specific areas you need to focus on and understanding the tendering invitation document (TID) criteria. Also, knowledge of where to look for contracts and finance opportunities….
As part of our Opening New Markets Programme, we are running a free workshop series to introduce you to the procurement process.
You will learn more about:
- the tendering process
- skills you will need to manage the process
- documents you should have in place
- how to write a PQQs and then a final bid
- where to access finance
- support we can offer you to help you develop the skills and documents needed to tender successfully
Plus it will be a chance to network with other social enterprises looking to expand their horizons through tendering for new work.
