Eveyone is welcome to come and help on this Free Embrace Woodlands! event run by Embrace Cooperation Ltd (www.myembrace.org) and Trust for Urban Ecology (TRUE), which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Anyone interested in learning the traditional art are welcome to attend and learn from trained Embrace & TRUE staff. Creating a well maintained attractive wildlife hedge provides an improved wildlife habitat (for native flowers, birds, insects & other wildlife), protects the wood from fly tipping & makes the woodland boundary safer. The hedgerow also provides the local wildlife with food, shelter & a safe corridor for wildlife including birds & bats.
This event is now fully booked up, but we can place people on a resevre list if people cancel.
