We are pleased to announce that Donnachadh McCarthy, the author, activist and eco-auditor, will be speaking at the next Southwark Friends of the Earth meeting on Tuesday 10th November at the Herne Tavern about eco-auditing and how you can use it to help cut your carbon footprint at home or at work.
Eco-auditing is the assessment of current environmental practice and the development of a practical action plan to make changes. Donnachadh's book 'Easy Eco-Auditing' takes you through how you assess the various areas of your home or workplace and the solutions to start making big differences right away.
This is the first of a new format for our meetings, where we will be having regular speakers on a range of environmental topics and giving people the chance to ask questions, share knowledge and chat about the wide wide green world.
Hope to see you there.
