Volunteer event

Join us to create and enhance this tropical jungle on the Thames. We have 7 polytunnels filled with diverse and eye catching plants and beds, with hundreds more outside.

There is a huge amount to learn and do for gardeners of any level in this beautiful site on the Thames. Weather need not be an issue as there is a massive indoor space, the polytunnel structure.

Starting at 12 we will be gardening on site, tending to our edible and ornamental sections.

Maintaining this tropical jungle involves a range of tasks, suitable for a wide range of participants, offering the chance to learn new skills and knowledge in:

Caring for edible plants from seed sowing, pricking out, planting out and harvesting, Caring for ornamental plants, Taking cuttings, lining raised beds and much more...

All welcome!
