Do you seek to live compassionately without the unnecessary exploitation of people, animals and the environment? Are you concerned about climate change and future generations? Are you interested in changing how we interact with other species, ecosystems and our human communities? Then our Introduction to Vegan Permaculture Course is for you!
Venue: Karuna Insight Design, Shropshire. Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) on the upper fringes of the Long Mynd, Karuna is an 18 acre low impact Permaculture and Forest garden demonstration site, where visitors, students and volunteers can directly explore and experience some of the possibilities that exist to help revitalise the British countryside (creation of a nature reserve) and to help the nation accommodate, feed and power itself in the most positive way. The project has become a highly valued unique working educational resource.
Led By: The course will be taught by Graham Burnett (Dip. Perm Des). Graham has been teaching permaculture since 1998, is a holder of the Diploma in Permaculture Design and author of Permaculture A Beginners Guide and the Vegan Book of Permaculture. He runs Spiralseed, an ethical venture working in partnership with others who share concerns around social environmental justice. He has been vegetarian since 1977 and vegan since 1984.
